Our Values

Human Dignity

Every person has inherent worth and must be treated with respect.

Rights-Based Approach

We prioritize human rights in everything we do.

Inclusiveness

We work with all sex workers regardless of age, gender identity, sexual orientation, or background.

Our History

NeSeD was founded in response to the increasing need for a unified national voice for sex workers in Malawi. For years, sex workers have faced legal, social, and institutional barriers that deny them basic rights and services. NeSeD emerged as a response to these challenges, aiming to coordinate advocacy efforts, build capacity among sex worker communities, and create spaces for inclusion, dialogue, and rights-based programming.
